The gold

The Gold: what is it?

The precious metal known as gold is naturally found in rocks known as ores. The gold is refined in mines to sift out the rock from the gold, and is then sent for production. The gold is very hard to find due to excessive mining in the late 1700-1800s which is why the the gold prices (even for second hand gold) has now skyrocketed.

Jewelcrafters and Jewelry wearers all love the gold, due to its value, colour and the fact that it does not discolour your skin when wearing it. Usually the gold is made into necklaces or rings and then jewels are set into it by skilled craftsmen to make it into fine jewelry.
